I've got this hoax anti virus or shall we say a virus from a website that I've forgot what it is. Now at first I was freaked out on the result of the scan, I've called my friend and she told me that it was just a hoax and I should uninstall it. Please teach me how to uninstall av pro 2010? Thanks!
To uninstall this program, go to the start menu on your PC. Find where it is saved this may be hard disk drive C or D..Now go to start menu , This is after you have known the source of the antivirus saved. Control panel then move to program .menu . Left click using mouse. After selecting it will ask on a command which program you want to uninstall then select .the Anti virus. You are done .
You can easily uninstall this program but you have to follow some easy steps to uninstall it properly.
It is a better way to uninstall any program. I hope you will resolve this issue.

Yeah so you got your PC infected with a virus bounded software, well in that case you could use the usual Uninstall method of OS, but it sometimes doesn't work on virus infected softwares. So I would refer you to use a special uninstaller to do your task, well you could use CCleaner or Your Uninstaller.

If you downloaded a fake antivirus that pretended to be legit and turned out to be a virus, try this. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your fake antivirus among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart later.
When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then restart the computer. After booting, open your web browser and download Sophos Virus Removal Tool and install it. Once installed, start Sophos then wait for the virus signature database to get updated.
When updating is complete, click to start scanning your machine. Scanning may take some time to finish depending on the size of the drive and the amount of data. Sophos scans everything on your computer including external devices connected via USB port. When a virus is found at the end of the scan, remove it then repeat the scan over and over until it no longer detects a virus.
