How do I uncheck the “Remember me” option if the public library does not permit going to Tools > Internet Option > Content Tab and so on?
They told me it’s because we are not allows to go on the internet and I just don’t get it.

Who told you that you are not allowed to go to the internet options? That is where I know you can uncheck the remember me option from. The procedure is follows:
That way, you will have removed the option for your password to be remembered on the sites you access, unless you choose to remember the passwords from the sites themselves.

I think you must need to turn off you computer or restart, after that open it again. If its a default setting, then you would to uncheck it manually.
IF you don't it to remember you, just log out and delete your BC Cookies, before your browser.
And when you are log in with your Username and Password, it is not check as a default.
Try it.
