I want to download a program on my device from internet but it states that I should disable the Mcafee software for some time. Is it alright to do so? If yes, how do I turn off Mcafee?
Here are the simple steps that will let you disable the Mcafee function up to the time period you want.
• Open the Mcafee control Panel by clicking on its icon on the bottom edge of your screen.
• Now, you will see that the real-time scanning as well as the firewall and other features are turned on. Turn off the real-time scanning.
• In the message prompt, select the duration that you want it disabled.
• Click on the Turn Off button.
• You can also disable firewall in the same way.
Note that it will only switch off Mcafee for the time period you chosen, but the program is still present on your PC.
