Hello

I am using Windows Vista on my pc and I don’t like how the icons are spaced.

Is there a way to change the spacing between the icons?

Where should I start?

Thanks very much.

I will teach you how to change the spacing on your desktop please follow the steps that I will tell you.

Right click on your desktop and put your mouse on view and you will have options there just choose which you prefer and the other method is changing the size of the icon where will you decide on how big the icon must be you need to left click on the desktop and then press and hold ctrl + (use your mouse scroll to resize the icons you may scroll up for bigger icons and scroll down for smaller ones).

Have a good day sir and enjoy your stay with us

hi lark ,

It seems you have trouble in finding how to adjust the icon spacing in windows vista. This is how, Just go to control panel by clicking start and you can see all the items in your control panel, now find display in it and then click on it and now you can see the icon spacing settings and size changing settings .

Or you can manually drag and drop icons and space each individually by right clicking on free space in the desktop and select view and then uncheck align icons to grid and you can now manually drag and drop each icon and space as you wish to.
