How do I resolve terminal error?

Why am I getting this terminal error ‘No such file or directory’ after I launch terminal? I recently shut down my system after I finish what I was doing, but when I power on the system this morning and launch terminal am getting this error. Although I have not noticed any difficulty using my system. How can I fix this problem?

Hello Jimmy G Hancock,     I think when you shut down your system, That time Terminal was in working condition. You have done force shut down to Terminal. That is the reason that Terminal behaves unexpectedly. Always remember if you force shut down the app, The apps may corrupt next time when you start it. Now you need to reinstall the terminal.
