Like in the video below, a grass will be applied on the ground beneath the sample 3D chair. First, to apply a texture on the ground, in Materials, select Vegetation and then choose your desired grass from the selection. To apply the realistic grass, click on the Sample Paint Tool in Materials. After that, click on the grass on your layout then click Material Editor. Scroll down to Maps and then check both Bump and Displacement boxes. Insert your desired values on both options and then click on the button opposite to Displacement to go to Texture Editor.
