When I start my computer, there is a bunch of applications at startup. It takes too much to active all the application and start working. I really want to get rid of them. I don’t require them at startup but I don’t know how to remove them from my icon tray icon. I don't want to delete or remove the programs. Can someone teach me how to do this?

Having so much software cause this problem. This problem often happens when you are using too many softwares. But sometimes when you installed the softwares at last point you select "Run on startup" choosing this option. You can prevent this through the way I'm telling you. I'm telling you the solution in the following:

  1. Click on the start
  2. Then select Run
  3. Type msconfig in the box(colored white)
  4. Then select the tab named "Autorun.INI"
  5. Take away the selection of the softwares.

Then only your desired softwares will run at the start up. I think my answer will satisfy you.

Thanks

Hello Dear,

I have the two ways to remove the programs from startup.

You have to do as I say.

Click on start button, then click on All Programs. In all program's list, choose startup. And delete all files from the start up.

The other way is to use Microsoft Configuration utility.

Open Run menu and type "msconfig" then press ok.

It will open Microsoft Configuration utility, click on startup tab and remove the ticks from all unwanted files.

It is very easy way to remove programs from start up.

Thanks
