Hello Karen G Bedard,

I have read the issue about jpg become jpg.rim on your BB device. There are serveral step to fix this problem.

First you must going to uncheck the encryption on your device. How to do it? Go to option > security > encrypt and then uncheck the encrypt option. Here the image.
