Hello there. I have the Asus motherboard P5KPL AM PS for Intel processor that I would like to overclock. My desktop has an Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM and Windows 7 64 bit. Can someone help? Thanks in advance.

So. I've been using the Asus AI overclock on the board to overclock my processor by 20% to 2.8Ghz.
Since my processor runs quite cool, and will bottleneck my GPU, I figured I might as well overclock it a bit further.

So, there's still a final option in the AI overclock to increase to 30%, which would take it past the 3Ghz mark.

But when I apply the 30% OC setting, whenever I reboot, instead of seeing my GRUB boot loader, I get a message saying :

NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl Alt Del to Restart

(edit: I might add that it's the same when I go beyond 2.8Ghz using both the AI overclock and Manual FSB settings)

Hello sir, the overclocking feature in asus boards can be located in the bios screen right before your pc boots to your os (windows xp/7/8 or others). Right before it shows the windows logo, usually you need to press the delete button to access your bios screen. After that you need to manipulate your fsb and its multiplier, try manipulating it and try it to test the fastest and most stable speed you could have.
