Hi.  I'm new to AutoCAD so please be patient with me.  I plan on creating my floor plan in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD.  Can someone teach me how to create symbols for security cameras?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Hello Emileekeila, You can use the exact same methods as demonstrated in creating fire safety symbols to create any icon you require to show your equipment in 2D. Alternatively If you have some public domain symbols, send them to us and we will create a 2D symbol set for you. You can then drag your 2D security camera symbols into position from the catalogue. You can then examine the actual view for each camera using the Save the 3D Viewpoint feature, by selecting the viewpoint from the camera's position, defining the camera height and viewing angle.
