How do I install IE8 in Windows 7? I have been looking on Google, but have not found a solution. I downloaded IE 8 from Microsoft, when the installation error , "not supported with your OS "came up. Then I want to run programs that only support IE 8. How do I downgrade from IE 9? Do I have to downgrade to XP?

Internet Explorer 9 is compatible with Windows 7 and works fine with it. However, you may have issues with certain websites as they are designed for the older version of the web browser. If you would like to uninstall the Internet Explorer 9 and roll-back to the older version of Internet Explorer, follow the below steps:
Uninstalling Internet Explorer 9 will automatically revert your browser to Internet Explorer 8 which is the default version in Windows 7.
