I am trying to change the default format in sticky notes on windows 7.

Can you change the format and if so how ?

Dear User,

The original settings in Sticky Notes, unfortunately, are to not change the default settings.

You can change information per sticky note with preset keyboard commands.

Below is a cheat sheet of commands for Sticky Note.

How do I format sticky notes in Windows 7

Hello Arthur,

To change the default font format of the sticky notes, all you have to do is cut and paste the text into another word editor for instance ms word or word pad and then change to the font you want while there.

When you cut and paste the text back to the sticky note it will take the font it was in while in ms word or the word pad.

If you need to:

  • make the fonts bigger – simply press ctrl + shift + > on your keyboard.
  • make the fonts smaller – simply press ctrl + shift +< on your keyboard.
