I just installed an MSI GeForce FX5200 DDR PCI Express video card on my Microsoft Windows XP 64 bit system. It seems to be not compatible with XP as it causes my PC to shut down. How do I force ms ddr vga dr version 128 MB to be recognized?

As long as the video card fits its slot, it will work fine, not, one thing is bugging me out, did you install its correct driver? Because, Installing a different driver may command your video card weird things and it might cause you a force shutdown as its security measures. Check the specifications again and try installing again your video card.
