I recently made changes in my registry on my xp 32-bit enabled PC and clip board just vanished.  Now, I can't seem to copy and paste. It gives an error of  "The ClipBook service is unavailable or is not started. Contact your system administrator to have this service started. (0x4000)".

Hi Tamarajparnell,

Clipbook can be restored by accessing “Tools” and then click on “Services” and double click on Clipbook. The selection of log on as will help to interact with desktop. Finally right click the clipbook service and then click on restart. The other way to manage clipboard is the use of Clipdiary clipboard manager. It would record and store every function of your system that is copying, text images etc and let the data to be retrieved in any sort of failure of clipboard or clipbook.

Cheers
