Hello fellow members.  How do I create an image on a disk using Linux dd Mac command?  I have the 27" iMac that has the 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and OSx Mountain Lion.  Can someone help?  Thanks in advance.

Hi Dorethadhoward,

I would suggest you to download and install Nero software. The Nero Burning Software is capable of creating disk images for your sake. It is a recommended software and is a freeware so you won't need to care about its cost. You may also try Roxio if you don't want Nero, there are a number of software that is available in the internet for MAC to produce a disk image.
