You can use the disk clean up option to delete files safely and free more hard disk space.This option can be used to clean up listed items like removing temporary internet files,emptying out the recycle bin,programs that you no longer use, etc.All of the items can be deleted or you can choose the ones you want to delete.Its up to you.You will find this option in My Computer>Properties>general>Disk Cleanup.Put a tick on the items you want to delete and click OK.You can also click on the "more options" button for further options on this.
