Hello guys. I have recently upgraded my OS from Windows XP 64 bit sp2 to Windows 8. I was wondering if I can change the icon libraries Win8 to have a more personalized look. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.
How do I change icon libraries Win8
To change library icons in Windows 8 operating system you just need to follow a few step. I have a step by step guideline for you following which you can easily change icons. This is a built in feature included in Windows 8 library. Here is the link to the step by step guideline
The steps are as follows
1. Open windows explorer
2. Click on libraries on the navigation pane. Right click on the library icon which you want to change and click properties.
3. Click change library icon button.
4. Click browse and navigate and select windows 7 DLL file that contains the icon which you would like to use.
5. Open the file and select the icon and click ok.
I hope this helps.
