Whenever I connect my external hard disk to my Linux Mint it shows the same error "The File System Is Not Clean". It has happened even when I replaced the hard disk with another one. Please Help me to do this hard disk repair in Linux Mint.

Hello

External hard drives in most cases work "out of the box" in all Linux distributions, but there are always issues with some models of external hard drive. So to use your external hard drive you need to create a mount point. To do that, first open terminal and then type this:

Mkdir /mnt/usbdrive
Mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbdrive

Now when your mount point is created you can use your external hard drive with no problems, just make sure to restart the computer after connecting hard drive to the computer.
