Is there anyway I can disable the problem of region code to watch DVDs mac book pro? I bought the Mac book in America and now I have moved to Singapore.

Changing the region code of the DVD drive more often usually leads to causing the optical drive to lock permanently on the fifth and last time it was changed to the last region you selected. All DVD drives are like this where you only get limited times of changing its region code. You only have 5 times to change the region code and on the fifth time the region code set will become permanent and you will not be able to change it again.
So avoid changing this especially if it is not necessary. Not all DVD discs are region specific.
