There is a defined form on Lotus Journal which develop forms every night with defined values. Now, I am looking for a method to create a macro which will do the following:

1. select a list from the clusters that are inside a dialogue box,

2. after editing one field it will save automatically,

3. will continue to do the same for three times, and

4. close the lotus notes.

Your suggestion/s would be highly appreciated.

Hallo Cadee,

First of all, you have to know that macros are supported in lotus symphony, and therefore I am not so sure if you are you will be able to work well with them using lotus journal.

When you use lotus symphony, you will be able to run the visual basic application code natively, but there will some APIs of the visual basic application that will not be supported are they may only be supported partially.

So you may choose to use lotus symphony, or try out lotus journal and see if it will work with the macros. That is as far I can help.
