I am having an issue on identifying CRC Error Correction Fix Disk Recovery. How can I fix it? What are the workarounds needed? And also, what command should I use to stop receiving any errors?

   Once the data on a disk gets corrupt it would be hard to recover it. You must know the cause first, since it can be OS problem or power outage while working on your computer. The best and effective way of resolving the problem is running CHKDSK on the drive you can do this on your Windows explorer. If ever it does not work you run CHKDSK from the command prompt then type in <drive letter>: /f/r. After the CHKDSK type in DiskPart, it will load a utility then type in Rescan. Then try to see if you can open the drive using Explore option. If the issue is in your CD/DVD, try to burn the file on a lower speed you can burn it on 4x speed. While there are online tools that say they can fix issues however, issues like this can be resolved depends on the level where the data has been corrupted.

The command that you are looking for is the CHKDSK command. You can go to start > cmd > key in "chkdsk /?" for the guide options and other wild cards for further optimization of the command.Â
The command format should be chkdsk <drive> or <path> then /f to fix the selected location.
Example CHKDSK C: /F – will check all the files in local disk C:
