How to Delete Google Chrome History

Hello!

How can  I  delete Google Chrome search history? I found the wrench icon on the right side of the address bar and went to tools. That wasn’t right. I finally saw the History sect and saw  the list of addresses I’ve visited, but where do I get them? Am I missing something?

STEPS TO CLEAR YOUR ENTIRE BROWSING HISTORY:

  1. Select the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Click tools.
  3. Select the  Clear browsing data.
  4. A dialogue will appear,check the Clear browsing checkbox.
  5. At the top you will see a menu. Select the amount of data you want to delete. Select the beginning of time to clear all of your browsing history.
  6. Lastly,click Clear browsing data

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WILL BE REMOVED WHEN YOU CLEAR YOUR BROWSING HISTORY:

  1. The cached text page you have been visited.
  2. The pictures of the website you always visit on the new tab.
  3. Any kind of IP address pre-fetched from page you have  visited.

How to Delete Google Chrome History

Hi Logan!

To delete the search history from Google Chrome, follow the steps below:

  • Click the Wrench icon found on the upper right hand corner of Google Chrome near the X button.
  • Select History
  • A new tab will be opened with the address of chrome://history/
  • There you will see all of the websites you’ve opened
  • Click the Edit items found on the upper right hand corner
  • Press the button of Clear all browsing data
  • This will open a new tab with the address of chrome://settings/advanced
  • This tab will have a small window that says Clear Browsing Data
  • On the Obliterate the following items from: you may press the drop down menu and choose from:
    the past hour
    the past day
    the past week
    the last 4 weeks
    the beginning of time
  • You may also select what items in the history you want to clear:
    Clear browsing history
    Clear download history
    Empty the cache
    Delete cookies and other site data
    Clear saved passwords
    Clear saved Autofill form data
  • Additionally, you may also clear the Adobe Flash Player storage
  • The Adobe Flash Player also stores data from websites where Flash was used in order for easy navigation the next time you visit that certain website
  • Once you have made your selecting on the time frame and what to delete, press the Clear browsing data button
  • When pressed, you will see a blue line going around beside the button indicating the process being executed.
  • The small window will automatically close when it’s done.

Delete through the Control Panel

  • Alternatively, you may delete the browsing history along with the temporary internet files and cache through the Control Panel
  • Open Control Panel
  • Open Internet Options
  • On the General tab, under Browsing history, press the Delete button
  • You may choose what to delete just like in Chrome.
  • Press the Delete button below the categories once you’ve decided to go ahead with the deletion

You may also use third party cleaners such as CCleaner that will help you delete the temporary internet files and cache.

I would like to help you. I have also encountered that before. Please just follow these steps. It helped me clear my browsing history. 
Clear Browsing History:
  1. Go to spanner icon ( wrench icon on the upper right of the screen)
  2. Go to tools
  3. Click "clear browsing history"
  4. Select the "clear browsing history" in the checkbox.
  5. Select the past hour" or "beginning of time"
  6. Then click the "clear browsing history"
 
If you want to remove some items in your browsing history. Please follow these steps:
  1. Select the spanner icon
  2. Then, history
  3. Select "edit items"
  4. Click "clear browsing history"
  5. Check the "past hour" or "beginning of time"
  6. Then lastly, "clear browsing history"
