Hi,

I am trying to open Microsoft Exchange 2007 Management Console on the Exchange 2007 server. However, I keep getting an error message saying "Active Directory operation is failed." It looks like this:

Can anyone help me fix this problem? Thanks!

Error:

Active Directory operation failed on "Full Computer name". The supplied credential for "ServernameUsername" on Bind operation is invalid error Code: 0x31.

How to debug failed Active Directory operation

Basically, active directory is a database, which is able to distribute multiple replication. when you use anythings you have to maintain some configuration requirement and basic rules or system. While using active directory, it is so vital too. To resolv the error you are facing now, you have to maintain a proper process.

At first, I suggest you to use another domain user account.

Then try to open the Exchange Management Console.

This account must have administrative credentials for the Exchange server. If everything goes well, follow the total instruction here I'm discussing-

  1. Use a new account to log on to the computer.
  2. In My Computer, go to Documents and Settingsuser profile" folder.
Note that-  user profile is the name of the corrupted user profile.
  3. You have to must create Back up of all the documents of this folder into a safe location.
  4. Now delete the folder instantly.(Not the backup one)
  5. Now log off your pc.
  6. After some time, again Log on to the PC, use the account that had the corrupted profile.
  7. Now the Windows profile for the user account is re-created.

And you are absolutely get rid from your problem.
