How to create car search engine Joomla? I am planning to put up an online business regarding second hand cars for I have 15 unused cars from different places, I want to create a website using Joomla and need to add car search engine. How will I do the coding process?

PixSearch Ajax Search Module, RokAjax Search, Universal Ajax Live Search, AceSearch, Advanced Site Search are some of the Joomla site search extensions. You can download them from The Joomla Extensions Directory and install the most suitable one to your site.

I am not sure you will be able to find free and stable component for car sales only. Still, depending on your needs you could use some of more generic components to create your car database. If your page is about sales you can always use VirtueMart or similar webshop. Also, you can use the regular content for creating your car database if you'd like more freedom in writing descriptions and you're not looking for fancy features. Components for personal adds could help you too.Â

Searching part is actually the easiest. You can use the core Joomla search, or if you choose to use a component you can use the search that comes with it as every better component has it's own search module.
