Dear trevor,

Here is the step by step guideline how you can solve your problem

1.  Click  the option called "Add File" to connect PDF file, then

2. You can see Basic Number Settings contain Text Properties, Margins, Format and Position in margins.

Advanced Number Settings contain Number Type, Page Range, Text Effect, Page Number, Special Configuration

3. At last click the "Number" to overwrite the original files or there might be another option called "Number and save as"

Choose a folder for outputting to complete the operation.

You are done. Hope it works. Good day

Hi!

Here I am to provide you with additional solution to create an Autonumber PDF forms.

Basically it is not possible for you to create Autonumber for Acrobat unless the PDF forms are located in web. This is because the Acrobat is not a database that keeps track of former uses. You should enable LiveCycle Reader Extensions if you want to create Autonumber. There might be 500 use limits for each form if you do not enable it.

There is another solution:

Firstly, you should visit a-pdf website. Please make sure to type your need in Search field. Then, download the A-Pdf Number Pro for free. After that, choose Add File. This step will helps you to link Acrobat with connected pdf files. Then, select Number in order to overwrite the original one.
