Hi,

I am a Mac OS X user. After installing OS X, I get a catastrophic hard-drive crash that requires me to initialize or replace my boot drive. The event selection didn't appear in proper place for lion calendar task. Can anyone help me how I will create and manage lion calendar task on Mac OS X?

Hi there Goldman,

Creating task/event on Calendar (OS X 10.8 or higher)/iCal (OS X 10.5 below). Here's a tutorial for you can create a reminder or a task on iCal/Calendar on mac:

  • Go to Apple Icon > Select File -> New Reminder > Enter the desired information in the Title field. example : "My Birthday"
  • On your keyboard press CMD-K and enter the desired information in the Title field.
  • Double-click on the new reminder (or press CMD-I) to open the Info window for the reminder and modify as appropriate. Note especially the Listoption, using which you can specify which Reminder List the reminder belongs too.
  • You can see the full tutorial at Wisc Edu's Helpdesk

Hope this helps you.

Hi Goldman,

I am giving you information below.
• Choose a File New event, Press Command + N, double click , or click and drag up or down anywhere on the calendar.
• If the event does not appear in the proper place, just click it and drag it wherever you like.
• To edit an event, Select it and then choose Edit  Event, Press Command + E, or double click it to open its event bubble.
• When you are satisfied with all of the events items, click the Done Button. Hopefully this information will help you.

Thanks,
