Vectorworks Spotlight is the best way to create different attractive and beautiful designs; it has all the tools necessary for effective designing. It is also really very important to have great software installed so that you may work rapidly, for this, Straw Lighting 2D 2007 is the best software because it makes lots of easy things for you during the designing procedure.

I would recommend Microlux for creating 2D lighting designs if Vectorworks Spotlight is too expensive for you. Microlux is a good, easy to use and less expensive application for creating 2D and 3D designs. You can try it out for free from their site.
