Can somebody please tell me how could I recover my Thief: Deadly Shadows file? I have the game via steam on my Windows 7 x64-bit version. Initially, the game is okay; it ran fine in general though it would sometimes stop working. But sometime lately, when the game stopped working and I tried to open it again, it won’t start anymore. My computer could not locate the Thief: DS saved file. What should I do? Please help me. Thank you in advance.Â

Have you checked the control panel already and seen if the application is there? It seems to be that the application is corrupt and if it is in the control panel you will need to uninstall it. Since you have said that the application had problems since you installed it, I will suggest that you go to another site which is not the site you downloaded the application from before, and then download the application from there. Some other things to put in mind when downloading the application is making sure that you get a 64 bit version so that it will be compatible with the windows 7 x64 bit that you are using.
