Hi Gwendolynhunterr,

I searched some solutions that may help you solve your problem. You may refer to this site for a clearer view of the solution:

  • Don’t shutdown your PC when you are repairing CDR files that are corrupted for it may damage it.
  • You can save copies of it when transferring it into storage for preventing it to be deleted.

Hello Gwendolynhunterr,

Solution 1:

Did you save a Temp file? Please check the User Temp folder, you might recover some of your work.

Solution 2:

You can run the converter macro in order to convert you file into CMX, this way you might be able to recover most of your data.

However if your version of Corel does not support converter macro you can execute the following command from the DOS prompt:

cdrconv.exe <filename.cdr> <filename.cmx> -cmx32
