I recently transferred from Windows to Mac OS X. I am facing a problem that Mac is not playing some of the Flash files. I searched on the internet and found that I have to convert these files. I will explain an easier solution to your problem. It will save you some time.
Firstly, download the newest version of Adobe Flash Player for MAC OS from here. Install it normally.
For this step you should have a web browser. If you don't have one, I suggest you to acquire Safari browser for MAC.
Once you have your preferred web browser, just drag-and-drop your .SWF file anywhere in the browser window and it should play your flash file.
Another trick is to set .SWF files to be opened by your web browser. It should be faster this way.
You could even use Flash Player Projector to open your. SWF files directly. Just DOWNLOAD and install this and it will work perfectly for you.
