My old computer had Microsoft works spreadsheets. They were all saved on Carbonate backup.
That computer broke, built my new computer came without Microsoft works – just Microsoft office excel spreadsheet starter.
My old Microsoft works SS files did not convert.
How can I do it?
Microsoft works spreadsheets need to be converted to excel before opening by Microsoft office excel spreadsheet starter.
To convert your Microsoft works spreadsheets to Microsoft office excel,please first of all copy a file on your new computer.
If your works spreadsheets are created by previous version of Works 6.0,then open with works from another PC,open the file,save as Excel 4.0/5.0 (XLS) or rename the files as .xls or .xlsx format.
Then open Microsoft office excel spreadsheet starter program.
Click on file then open. Click on all (file type). Pick up your file and save as Excel Workbook(.xlsx).
