Ok so I have a HTC 8X Windows Phone and lots of email with Excel files attached.
The issue is that I can not read them or if I can, they are freezing or opening kind of hard.
So is there any possibility to convert Excel to mobile format so I will be able to read them or modify them?
Please go easy on me, as I am new in this area.

You are probably facing this issue because you tried to open the file directly from your mailbox in your windows phone.
For changing excel files into mobile format from email, please follow the below steps.
1. Retrieve the required Excel file as an attachment from your email account while checking your email in your Windows phone.
2. When the attachment is clicked on, you will have the option of opening the file or saving it on to your phone. You can opt to save it .
 3. Go to the start menu on your mobile and proceed to Excel Mobile.
 4. You can find the required excel sheet here and it is now available in your mobile for further modifications.
