I want to convert doc file to wordfile that is the latest version and it should be able to open in all devices of the world. And it should also be backward compatible to support the old devices also.
The doc file itself is a word created afile which was being used in the old office 2003 – 2007 version and now the format has changed to docx where the documents use lesser space. To convert it to the latest file you need to open the file in word and then click on the File menu and select convert. A dialog box will pop up with the warning about the changes. Click on the OK button and the document will be converted to thelatest format.
Then you can save it.
