Hi there! I hope someone answers my query and helps me with it.
I have just setup my wireless network. I know my network's wireless settings (SSID, Channel, Wireless key…etc.). The problem is, I don't know how to connect my new Windows 7 computer to my wireless network.
The computer is using a built-in wireless card. If the computer is plugged directly to the router, it can go online, if I unplug it, it cannot go online.

The troubleshooting that I suggest involves, using Windows 7 built-in utilities, instead of using the computer's third party wireless software.
If you are fine with that, then please read on. Otherwise, you may check your computer's manual on how to use its own utility.
These are the steps on how to connect wirelessly on Windows 7:
1: Click on the
icon, at the bottom-right of the screen.
2: Select your network, from the list and click Connect.
3: On the Connect to a Network window. If your network is secure, you will be prompted for the wireless security key. Enter your Security key or Passphrase and click OK. Wait while your computer tries to connect to your network.
4. If the icon changes to 
, then your computer is already connected wirelessly.

I am not sure, if I can use the computer's third party software, since I have just bought it and I still have to study its manual.

I tried the solution. I can see my network. I can also connect to it. The problem is, it is telling me that I am using the incorrect password.
I was thinking have it. I went to double check the password and I think I missed a character. Let me try again!
