I want to connect the phone line provided by the ISP to computer to get internet access. The cable is a 4 pin plastic cable that needs to be connected. How can I connect phone line to computer?
The cable you have mentioned should be an ADSL cable that can be connected to the Ethernet port of the CPU. The further termination must be linked to the modem which will convert the signals coming from the phone line to computer understandable signals.
You also need to make sure that the modem is an alternative line that is coming from the telephone since some providers may provide you cables that are not aligned to provide simultaneous connections.
