Hello,

You must create a local replica; while you are connected to the server :

  • Right click on the icon of the mail database
  • Replication
  • New replica

In the window that opens, select local check "create immediately" and OK.
“Notes” will begin to replicate the database. For replication works in an automatic way, you must change the location of the document (bottom right), there must be a desktop icon. Click it and then click Edit.

“Notes” opens the address book of staff paper of the current site, click the 4th tab and in the first field select Local.
Then in the replication tab, tick the first box "activate replication" and then Esc to back up.

From now on, “Notes” automatically replicate the database.

Tell me if it helps you.
Good luck.

Since I think you already have installed Lotus Notes on your computer, the next thing to do is to configure it on your desktop computer. Here is how you can do it.

  • Click Start, Programs, Lotus Applications, then Lotus Notes to open the program. Click Next.

  • Enter your name then uncheck I want to connect to a Domino server and then click Next.

  • Uncheck all the boxes you see on the image below then click Next.

  • Click OK when the setup is complete.

  • On the Lotus Note is welcome page, select No thanks, just give me the defaults.

  • You will now have the Lotus Notes default Welcome page.

And that is it. Your Lotus Notes client is now configured.
