Hi Aldrin,

A program called "File Shredder" will do what you want. Download it for free at the web site below:

You can also try Privazer. I have used this software once before. Download it for free the web site below:

You can learn lots more of such information about “File Shredder” and how to “Wipe Disk” which means that deleting all the information from your computer once and for all. Check the web site below:

You can also check Heidi Eraser, an advanced security tool (for Windows), which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefuly selected patterns.

I hope it helped.

Hi these are the steps that you have to follow to erase your hard drive. If you have any important files, take backup of the file which you are ready to erase. If you want to format full hard drive. You can format it by using windows cd or if you want to format one by one also possible. If you interested in formatting partition one by one you can select the partition which you like to erase, then right click on it, there you can see the option called format. Once you select format, format box will appear on the screen.

Here you need to select the format option just simply click on start. This is the steps you have to apply to all other partition to erase other than C drive. If you wish to format c drive and reinstall the O/S, you have to format it by using the windows cd. That’s all.

I hope this message will help you to format your PC.

Thank you.

To wipe your hard drive means to totally delete all the information on your drive. Before anything else, you need to backup all your data and information because once you delete the contents of your hard drive, you can never bring it back. Download a destruction software. Try the DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke) for wiping all the data outside Windows. You can download it from the link below:

http://www.dban.org/download

You can also use other software whichever you prefer. After downloading DBAN, burn the ISO file on a disk to make a bootable disk. And when done burning the ISO file, you can now start wiping your hard drive.
