Hello,

Partitions are used to separate the disk space of a HDD and use them effectively. There must be at least two partitions remaining that will run the OS. One is “System reserved”, and another is “OS installation”.

If you wish to delete other partitions, you can. But make sure that you have made backup the data of other drives otherwise, they won’t be available at all.

Note that only ‘C’ drive will be remaining.

1. From Start menu, type “compmgmt.msc” >> hit Enter.

2. From the left pane, expand “Storage” >> select “Disk Management”.

3. There will be a list of drives available. Right-click on any drive and select “Delete Volume”.
Note that you won’t have to delete ‘C’ and “System Reserved” drive as that might cause system malfunction.

Now, the drives are deleted. The free space will be available as “Unallocated space”. You can use the space to create a new partition, or extend ‘C’ drive.

Once data is deleted from any drive, it can’t be back. So, deleting files from a drive won’t keep any backup unless you keep those backup on other place.
