How to charge my 4 GB iPod mini

Hi,

I had my first generation 4 GB iPod mini refurbished with a new screen and battery. After that, all seemed well apart from the problems I am having when charging it using an AC adapter or a car charger. The problem is it only charges when connected to a computer. I tried fixing it by clicking the “restore” option in the computer but part of the process requires plugging the iPod to the AC adapter, and since the iPod does not respond to the AC adapter, the iPod is now stuck in that state. I would like to know if anybody has ever encountered such a problem and what is the solution to fix it.

When you open the ipod box it contain following accessories. The ipod, the handfree, and the usb cable for data sharing. You can charge your ipod by connecting it with the usb port in your computer/laptop. And you should keep in your mind one thing that when you are charging your ipod standby, hibernation and sleep mode is turned off. If the standby, hibernation and sleep mode is on in your computer the ipod will not charge or make some problems in charging. If you have an Apple ipod usb power adopter you will be able to charge your ipod without leaving the computer powered on.
