OK, now that we've registered a domain and set up hosting, we need to get the two to "talk" to each other. Otherwise, we've got our domain over here and our hosting over there and the domain doesn't know it belongs to the hosting and vice versa. That's not particularly helpful. Why did we register our domain and purchase hosting from two different companies? Well basically, to avoid giving one company complete control over our site.

Hello,

It is always suggested to register our domain and purchase hosting from two different companies. If we register the domain name with the same hosting service provider, he might not allow take the owner ship when we are moving away from him. This might end up in getting a new domain name for our site. Also, it is suggested to register domain names only with reputed companies and that too only in your or your company’s’ name. As long as the domain name is directly under our name and ownership, the site is safe and under control. Also, if we register the domain name and purchase the hosting with the same company, the host service provider would charge and extra fee if we would like to transfer to a different domain.
