Hi everyone

I am a project manager, and my mac contain many sensitive data about my current project, meanwhile I want to share data with my core works, but it must not pass any data to third party. Would anyone tell me how to change read only attribute with mac hard drive?

Hello

Follow these instructions:

1. Click on file(s) you want set as read only

2. Click File -> Get info and window will open for you

3. Unlock window by clicking lock icon, then type your admin password

4. Click on Privilege -> check Read Only mark. Repeat this for Staff and Everyone names.

in order to change your hard drive from read only to read/write, follow the steps.

1. Open Finder and select Application . Go to disk utility and then select the format. Now select your hard drive.

2. select the file system- "Mac Extended OS (Journaled)."

now its done.
