Hi Bernard,

It's no possible restart a remote PC this way. FTP is a file transfer protocol and does not allow such actions unless you do it illegally which is not recommended. To perform actions on a remote computer using SSH is more appropriate, that  is a secure protocol to perform this actions.

Hope it helps.

Hi Bernard,
You cannot literally restart a remote PC using FTP. The simplest way should be restarted from command prompt. But you have to make sure that the administrator allows remote restart of that PC.
1. After enabling remote restart go to run.
2. Type cmd and press enter
3. Type “shutdown /i” without the commas and press enter.
4. Click Add to add the name of the computer and click ok.
5. Click Ok again.
