This is a hard query to reply for the reason that of the quantity of possible reasons for this matter to rise makes confident you have the newest drivers installed from the CD-R or recordable drive. There are many drivers linked issues that may reason a CD-R drive or additional recordable to discontinue interpretation a CD-R disc.

If you are operating Microsoft Windows confirm your drive is appropriately sensed and listed in Device Manager with no quarrel or mistake. Confirm it that Windows Device Manager observe an inaccuracy on the drive or if it has other drives listed in Device Manager with errors on them eliminate the device from Device Manager and reboot the system to let Windows re-start the drive.

Thanks

If you computer does not read a CD or any recordable disc, try and check if the CD is dirty. If it is try and clean it. If it's clean, try using a CD/DVD drive lens cleaner. It's likely that dust has accumulated inside the optical drive making it hard for it to read the media inserted in it.

When you insert a media into your optical drive, try and check Computer. Click start then go to Computer. Try and see if your optical drive is listed and if the CD/DVD contents are listed when you try and access it. It is likely that it may seem that the computer is not recognizing the media since it did not autoplay but when you check Computer it's actually able to read it.
