Kristi there are two type's of keyboard socket is it a Ps2 or USB? if it is USB type it should be supported by android all keyboard usually works in plug and play it should be working just plug it. if it is not detected restart your tablet while keyboard is plug or try to look at any controls might be related to keyboard hardware..
