Hi, Mark here.

In Windows 7, Windows Movie Maker is named Windows Live Movie Maker. First thing you should do is, check whether Windows Live Movie Maker is installed on your Windows 7 Operating System. To do this:

  1. Click the Start button and in the Search bar type movie maker.
  2. If you see Windows Live Movie Maker in the list of results then you probably have a movie maker in your Windows 7 installation and you can use that one right away.

Now, if you don't see Windows Live Movie Maker in the list of results, that means the movie maker is not installed and you need to install it manually.

Now download Windows Live Movie Maker and install it. Follow the instructions on the installer and you're all set to go in using Windows Live Movie Maker.
