Hi,

I tried to open the application Microsoft Outlook but it failed to do so gives me an error message (like the one in the screenshot)?

How can I solve the issue?

OUTLOOK.EXE-Unable to Locate Component

OUTLOOK.EXE-Unable to Locate Component

This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found.

Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

MSVCR80.dll error is an issue with your registry, or it can also be a virus or malware problems or can possibly be a hardware failure.

If it is missing or you need to replace it, do not download  from a DLL download page.

It is always best to use from a legit source. Try to recover it if you accidentally removed it. Use a file recovery software if needed. Or you can just perform a System Restore to undo the recent changes that you made from your computer.

It is also best if you will just reinstall Outlook to replace the missing file.

Or run your System File Checker to replace the missing or corrupted file.
