I wanted help in setting up Logitech MX on the Linux operating system using KDE.I tried a lot to do so but could not succeed.Any help would be appreciated.

Instructions

Installation Via Synaptic using KDE

Open the Synaptic Package Manager. Synaptic is located under the Administration section of the System menu.

Type keytouch in the Quick search box. The KeyTouch module will appear in the results box.

Select the KeyTouch module by clicking the check box next to the module. All required modules will be automatically included.

Click Apply to install the modules. Once they are installed, close Synaptic.

Look for the software to verify installation. In systems older than 8.10, KeyTouch is under the Administration section of the System menu. On 8.10 and newer systems, it will be under the Preference section of the System menu.
Command Line Installation

Open a terminal window if you are running Gnome, KDE or another Linux GUI.

Type “sudo apt-get install keytouch keytouch-editor” on the command line.

Open KeyTouch.

Select the type of keyboard you have. The Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard is one of the supported keyboards. KeyTouch will close.

Open KeyTouch again. The profile for the Microsoft Natural Keyboard will load. To customize keyboard settings, change the settings in the dialog box. If the keyboard works as you prefer, close KeyTouch. Your keyboard will work normally.
