I lost the box of my motherboard and I wanted to upgrade the video card and the ram of my computer.

The technician from the store said that I should know what video card and ram is compatible with the motherboard for it to work.

These are couple little tips you might find helpful with your problem.

I. Right click on "My Computer" > Properties (there's some for you personally right there).

1. Click on the "Hardware" tab.
2. Mouse click on "Device Manager" (more info).

II. Or: Start > All programs > Accessories > System tools > System information. (This will likely be all that's necessary in the following).

III. SIW has some serious system information capabilities(but it surely is complicated).
IV. System internals has some stuff.
V. Check Techspot's download section on topic.
Hope that was not just a handful of random not-so-helpful info.

I hope it will help you solve your problems.

Dear paolo,

This is very easy problem which you want to know and there is also an easy solution for you and it helps you a lot and also fulfills your needs.

So the solution for you is that you can first of all close all of your open windows and stay at a main window or desktop then there you found a my computer option do right click on that and then go to the properties.

Then there is an option named device manager. So you can open that manager and see your specification. You can also see those in that previously opened my computer properties.

Cheers.
