Hello there Woodle,

Unfortunately CD driver won't be able to read your DVD disk. All you can do is copy the files on your DVD and save it on your computer. You can use somebody else's computer to do this and your problem is solved. Hope this helps solve your problem.

Hello,

If you can go to a friend and use theirs DVD ROM drive, you can create an ISO image of the disk you want to use.

To create an ISO of your disk first.

  • Download Nero BurnLIte
  • Install the application.
  • Open Nero.
  • Select burn image.
create an ISO image of the disk
  • By targeting window change to ISO. Click burn.
  • An ISO will be created.

Once the ISO has been created. You will need an application to read the ISO. A good option is Daemon tools lite.

  • Just install Daemon tools.
  • Then double click the ISO on your computer and the ISO will open with all your files.
