How can I possibly reset usb pen drive setting? I am presently working as a professor in a specific school university here in our place. We need to have our personal usb pen drive devices to store our reports, powerpoint presentations for class, softcopy of lesson plan and more. Can you help me find the usb pen drive setting? I need to reset it or reformat the files.

If you like to clear all the data from the USB device, you can format it by opening “My computer”, right click the USB drive and click on “Format” button. This will erase all the data from your USB drive. Data once deleted cannot be recovered.
To protect your USB drive, you can download an application called “Flash disk security” from the website. There are several such applications available on the internet. With this application, you can actually password protect your data so that it cannot be opened, formatted or modified by any other person. It is a very useful application.
